John III, Count of Nassau-Dillenburg

Johann von Nassau- Dillenburg († 1429/1430/1433 ) was provost in Münster and canon in Cologne.

Life

He was the son of John I, Count of Nassau Dillenburg and his wife, Margarethe von der Mark.

Since 1382 or 1423 canon in Cologne, Pope Boniface IX took. him on 13 January 1392 as familiars on.

Following the resignation of his brother Engelbert of Nassau- Dillenburg he was too Münster since 1404 provost. He was also Archdeacon in Liege. 1421 Johann von Nassau- Dillenburg renounced to the provost in Münster.

After his resignation, he married, but died probably soon after. His daughter became a nun in Cologne.
