John Innes Centre

The John Innes Centre ( JIC ) is an institute in Norwich for molecular plant sciences and microbiology for the fundamental and pioneering research, training of scientists and publication of its results.

In addition to externally acquired funds, the JIC is mainly funded and administered by the State BBSRC (Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council ).

The institute has about 800 employees.
