John Jay College of Criminal Justice

The John Jay College of Criminal Justice is a college of criminology and related teaching areas in Midtown Manhattan and is part of the City University of New York. It was founded in 1964 as the College of Police Science and is named after John Jay, one of the founding fathers of the United States and the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to him be taught 14,000 people.

It is the only college in the United States, specializing in criminology and allied sciences. The students can obtain the degree of Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science or Masters.
