John Lipscomb

John Bailey Lipscomb ( born July 25, 1950 in Arlington, Virginia) was an Anglican bishop of the Episcopal Church of the United States of America. He was from 1997 to 2007 the 4th Bishop of Southwest Florida.

In June 1974 he was ordained a deacon and received in March 1975 his ordination. In 1995 he was ordained by Edmond Lee Browning and James Malone Coleman and Rogers Sanders Harris bishop. He married on December 28, 1968 Marcie and has two children. The end of 2007, they joined the Roman Catholic Church. On 2 December 2009 he was ordained in Lutz by the Archbishop of Miami John Favalora to the Roman Catholic priests.
