John M. Quinn

John Michael Quinn ( born December 17, 1945 in Detroit ) is a bishop of Winona.

Life

John Michael Quinn received on 17 March 1972, the ordained priest for the Archdiocese of Detroit.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on July 7, 2003 Auxiliary Bishop of Detroit and Titular Bishop of Ressiana. The Archbishop of Detroit, Cardinal Adam Joseph Maida, donated him then on 12 August of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Edmund Casimir Szoka and Cardinal Walter Joseph Schoenherr, auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Detroit.

On 15 October 2008, the appointment would Coadjutor of the Diocese of Winona. With the age-related withdrawal Bernard Joseph Harrington on 7 May 2009, Quinn joined its successor as Bishop of Winona.
