John Martin (singer)

John Martin is a Swedish singer and songwriter, who had his breakthrough in collaboration with the Swedish House Mafia.

Career

Musical beginnings

John Martin was born in Stockholm and began playing guitar at the age of 13 years. Shortly thereafter, together with a few friends, he formed a band. Together they played cover songs of the grunge band Nirvana. Together they performed in the bars of Stockholm. They got a record deal after several live performances. However, after rather less success her contract was terminated. Nevertheless, she continued to have successful live performances the group split up.

2010: Comeback

In 2010 he met songwriter and producer Michel Zitron know. Together they produced their own songs until it was rediscovered by the Swedish DJ Axwell also, who was part of the Swedish House Mafia. Together, they then took to the song Save the World with him. He was released on 13 May 2011 as a single and almost made it into the international charts, and also reached the Top 40 in Germany, he was also a top 10 hit in the UK and reached number 10 in the hit parade.

Together with Michel Zitron he wrote for parallel Andreas Moe a vocal version to Aviciis song Penguin. Entitled Fade Into Darkness the song was released in the summer of 2011 as a digital download. So as well as Save the World, the song peaked at # 4 on the Swedish charts.

After this success, the Swedish House Mafia again brought out a single with him. It bears the name Do not You Worry Child and appeared only a year later on 14 September 2012 shortly after the separation of the Swedish House Mafia. The song reached the top 10 of several charts, including No. 9 in Germany, Rank 1 in the UK and Sweden, and number 7 in the U.S.. It was his biggest hit.

In 2013 he recorded the song You & I along with Max Enforce. However, the project was canceled before release. Also in 2013, he sang a vocal version to Sebastian Ingrosso and Tommy Trashs Song reload. The title was his third top 10 hit in the UK and Sweden, as well as a great success in Germany and Switzerland.

He is currently working with his friend Michel Zitron on his debut album which will be released in 2014. Also, worldwide tours are planned. In addition, a supposedly appeared with David Guetta recorded song on the internet. Before the song was used as Love a Little Louder, it was only referred to as a so-called "ID". It appeared further comprising an image on the Guetta and Martin are to be seen in the studio, but the artist and song titles have not been confirmed. Beginning in December 2013 published Martin on his YouTube channel, an acoustic version of the song. From a release of the original version was probably the time being taken due to the early spreading distance.

End of January 2014, he presented his debut single Anywhere for You, which was released on 12 February. Produced the song by Swedish DJ Alesso.
