John Murphy (cyclist)

John Murphy ( * December 15, 1984 in Jacksonville ) is an American professional road bicycle racer.

John Murphy won a stage of the 2003 Tour of Ohio. The next year he rode for the cycling team Jittery Joe's. 2005 Murphy was successful on the second section of the Valley of the Sun Stage Race. Since October 2006, he goes for the U.S. team Health Net - Maxxis. In his second year there he won a stage of the Tri-Peaks Challenge Arkansas and a stage at the Edgar Soto Memorial. 2008 Murphy won the overall classification of the Tour de Taiwan for itself.
