John Noble

John Noble ( born August 20, 1948 in Port Pirie, Australia) is an Australian actor and theater director.

Life

He was from 1977 to 1987 the Artistic Director of Stage Company of South Australia, and from 1997 to 2000 he was the director of the drama department of the Brent St. School of Arts in Sydney. In the film trilogy The Lord of the Rings, he played the role of Denethor. In the years 2008-2013 he played the eccentric scientist Walter Bishop in the television series Fringe - limiting cases of the FBI. After a three-part supporting role as Henry Parrish in the first season of Sleepy Hollow, he was promoted for the second season of the protagonist.

In addition, Noble has worked as a spokesperson for the production of computer games, so among other things in Saboteur (2009) and LA Noire (2011 ), where he not only took on the synchronization in the latter, but was inserted by motion capture in the game.
