John Patitucci

John Patitucci ( born December 22, 1959 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American jazz bassist.

Life

Patitucci began at the age of ten years playing bass guitar, with twelve years followed first compositions, with fifteen years of double bass and a year later the piano. He studied classical bass at San Francisco State University and Long Beach State University and began his career in 1980 as a studio musician in Los Angeles. There Patitucci quickly made ​​a name due to its exceptional technical and stylistic security.
