John-Paul Clarkin

John -Paul Clarkin ( born June 5, 1978) is a New Zealand polo player with a handicap of 8

John -Paul Clarkin is the eldest son of the late Paul Clarkin polo player and his wife Chele. He is regarded as the best player in New Zealand.

In 2003, he won the team with his future wife Carina Vestey and the brothers Mark and Luke Tomlinson Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup at the Midhurst. In the years 2008 and 2010 he won the St. Moritz Polo World Cup on Snow. The year he spent with games in Australia, England, Argentina, South Africa and New Zealand.

Since 2 September 2006, he is married to the polo player Nina Clarkin, a niece of Samuel Vestey, 3rd Baron Vestey, who he met with 19 on a Polo Party.
