John Riccitiello

John Riccitiello (* 1958 in the U.S.) is an American manager and was from 2007 to 2013 CEO of Electronic Arts (EA ), the world's second largest developer and publisher of video and computer games.

Life and career

He attended the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley. Riccitiello worked in numerous different companies and other organ Istat ions, including The Clorox Company as a Brand Manager at PepsiCo as Group Marketing Director at Häagen- Dazs as a director, at Wilson Sporting Goods as President and Chief Executive Officer and at Sara Lee Corporation, also as President and Chief Executive Officer.

From October 1997 to 2004 he served as Chief Operating Officer of EA. Then he left EA and was co-founder of the financial investor Elevation Partners. Under his leadership, the investor took over the two computer game developers BioWare and Pandemic Studios. 2007 moved back to Riccitiello EA, where he served as CEO and President was the successor to the long-standing managing director Larry Probst in the same year. On March 30, 2013 Riccitiello resigned.
