John Richardson (actor)

John Richardson ( born January 19, 1934 in Worthing, Sussex, England ) is a British actor.

Life

Richardson began his career in 1958 with a small supporting role in the British comedy film with his head through the wall with Hardy Krüger and Sylvia Syms in the lead roles. He had in the Italian horror film The hour when Dracula comes from Mario Bava A first main role. He had then larger roles in British productions like queen of the desert and the male lead role in One Million Years BC on the side of Raquel Welch. 1969 pulled him director Peter R. Hunt after the departure of Sean Connery as James Bond in new whereas the role eventually went to George Lazenby. The following year, he played in the U.S. production once the day comes with Barbra Streisand and Yves Montand in the lead roles. He succeeded, however, not to take on the U.S. movie business foot so that he appeared in the episode in Italian productions, including in the Gialli Saw the Devil and maze of terror. In the 1980s, he had hardly any involvement, according to a recent supporting role in a television movie in 1994, he returned to acting the back.

Richardson was married to Martine Beswick and devoted himself after his retirement photography and lives in Paris.
