John Tambouras

John Tambouras ( born January 30, 1979 in Darwin) is a former Australian football player who won national titles on three continents in the course of his career.

Career

Tambouras began his career with the Greek embossed club South Melbourne FC in the National Soccer League ( NSL) and arrived there at championship win in 1998/99 to a league use. In 2000 he moved to Greece to Kalamata FC, ​​for whom he played until 2003. He then returned to the NSL and played in the last year of existence for the New Zealand Club Football Kingz.

In the newly established before the season 2005 /06 Australian A-League professional league he came under the sole representative of New Zealand, the New Zealand Knights, former Football Kingz. After a disappointing season with just six points from 21 games, he moved to Malaysia Pahang FA, with whom he won the Malaysian FA Cup 2006. In February 2010 Tambouras was invited by the Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande for trial.
