Johnny Flynn & The Sussex Wit

Johnny Flynn & The Sussex Wit are an English folk rock band. The singer, also known as Joe Flynn, is also active as an actor, poet and songwriter. As influences he cites William Shakespeare and WBYeats. He is a member of the theater group ' propeller '.

The debut album A Larum released in the summer of 2008 and has been recommended by music critic David Fricke in Rolling Stone music magazine. After the Sweet William EP was released in the winter of 2009, appeared in the summer of 2010 the second album Been Listening to the label Transgressive Records.
