Johnossi
Johnossi [ jɔnɔsi ] is a Swedish indie and alternative rock band from Stockholm. It consists of John Engelbert (* 1982 ) and Oskar " Ossi " Bonde ( b. 1979 ). The band name is derived from the two first names John and Ossi.
Band History
The idea of founding a band that carried the two friends for several years before the actual founding around with you. The main reason for this delay they indicate laziness. Characteristic of the style of the band is a raw, dirty sound mix, which they present, especially at live concerts.
After the founding they toured with The Soundtrack of Our Lives through Scandinavia and brought in 2005, their first, self -titled album out them, which was also released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the following year.
In 2006 they had their own tour and also played the opening act for Mando Diao and Razorlight. In early 2007 they toured throughout Germany alone. Many of these events were completely sold out. In 2007, they were seen as the opening act of Sportfreunde Stiller. In early March 2008, she played the Single Execution song for the soundtrack of the movie The shaft with a. In the video game NHL 09 the song can also be heard. In June 2011, they performed as the opening act of Beatsteaks on in the Berlin Wuhlheide.
Their second album All They Ever Wanted was released on 28 March 2008 and brought them the first time, a chart position in Germany. The third album Mavericks appeared on 30 April 2010.
On March 22, 2013, the fourth album Transitions appeared. In the fall of 2013, the band played a big headlining tour through Europe.
Private John and Oskar have each woman and child. John is the father of a son Oskar and one daughter.
