Johnston Creek (Alberta)

Johnston Canyon is a canyon in Banff National Park in the Canadian province of Alberta. It is located between Banff and Lake Louise.

The beginning of the road in the canyon is paved and easy to walk (approx. 1,1 km long ) to the Lower Falls, a ten -meter-high waterfall. After another 2.7 miles you get to the Upper Falls, which look much more impressive and are about 30 meters high. From there, a steeper 5.8 kilometer path to the Ink Pots, which are very nicely integrated into the landscape and from which bubbles rise regularly.
