JoJo (singer)
Joanna Noëlle Blagden Levesque ( born December 20, 1990 in Brattleboro, Vermont, USA), stage name JoJo, is an American pop and R & B singer, songwriter and actress. Notoriety she gained in 2004 through their debut single Leave ( Get Out ), which topped the U.S. pop charts reached. Thus, it was regarded as the youngest singer in the music industry with a number 1 hit in the United States.

Life
JoJo grew up in a musical family in poverty in Keene (New Hampshire) and Foxborough. Her parents divorced when she was 3 years old. Her mother, a musical and church singer was practicing at home. As a toddler, JoJo sang songs of their favorite musician mother like Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston or Etta James.
From May 2005 to September 2006 JoJo was romantically involved with soccer player Freddy Adu.

Your first television appearance was in 1998 when JoJo Kids Say the Darndest Things On The Road In Boston with Bill Cosby. Some time later, she sang on the show Destination Stardom and enthusiastic with the song Respect by Aretha Franklin the audience. After JoJo was invited to Oprah Winfrey show.
In the movie Aquamarine they occupied with Emma Roberts one of the main roles. It also plays a main role in the film The Chaos camper on the side of Robin Williams. Previously, she appeared in series such as American Dream and Bernie Mac Show as a guest. In August 2008 she took over the lead role in True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet and played with Golden Globe winner Valerie Bertinelli at her side.

Debut album JoJo

In 2004, she appeared on the European tour as opening act for Usher. The songs Keep on Keepin 'On, Yes Or No and Sunshine, which can be heard on their debut album JoJo, she wrote itself
In August 2005, the single Not That Kinda Girl was released. The single debuted at number 85 in the German charts and stayed a week in the Top 100
Second studio album The High Road
2005 JoJo recorded their second album, The High Road, from which the first single Too Little, Too Late was published on 3 November 2006. In the USA, the title broke another record. He managed the largest Charts jump of all time until then by the single from 66th place to number three on the Billboard Hot 100 climbed within a week. So she pushed Kelly Clarkson from the top, which made the jump from number 52 to number one with their debut single Moment Like This.
On November their 2nd single How to Touch a Girl, who himself had written and JoJo space 104 outside the Billboard Hot 100 reached appeared. Their third single Anything released on May 2007, reached number 21 in the UK charts. In 2007 she went on tour through Europe, Mexico and America. In the same year she coverte the song Beautiful Girls Reply by Sean Kingston.
First mixtape Can not Take That Away From Me
As of 2007, JoJo was working on her third album, All I Want Is Everything. The singer also confirmed that she wanted to earn a high school diploma. JoJo worked with producers like Toby Gad, who has written songs for Beyonce or Fergie, and JR Rotem, who has produced for Britney Spears and Ashley Tisdale.
Meanwhile coverte JoJo the song Can not Believe It by R & B singer T -Pain. The release was postponed several times. The album was first released in late 2008, then the date was set at the beginning of 2009. In summer 2009, the singer eventually sued their record company because they have not fulfilled the expectations of the singer. The record company Blackground Records collaborated with Interscope Records and took JoJo under contract.
The singer announced that she was working on a mixtape, which then appeared in 2010, entitled Can not Take That Away from Me. In August, her first single in four years, In the Dark, premiered.
Third album and second mixtape Agape
The album Jumping Trains (formerly: All I Want Is Everything ) should appear in spring 2011, with The Other Chick as a pre-release single to the album. After the single only got little positive response, was The Other Chick as a so-called buzz single ( a promotional method to draw attention to a new music project of singer ) titled. The first official single was released with disaster on August 29, 2011. The song debuted at number 87 on the Billboard Hot 100, featuring JoJo's first single in these charts for five years.
In December 2011 it was announced that JoJo was hired as a testimonial for " Clearasil 's PerfectaWash ". It was also announced that the new album Jumping Trains will be published in spring 2012 in the U.S.. The album has still not been released and there is still no exact details of publication.
In July 2012, JoJo made her new single Demonstrate the internet and got positive reviews. In an interview, JoJo said that they will start a brand new album and the new album will no more be called Jumping Trains. Disaster will not be available on the upcoming album, as her new album will go more towards R & B and pop and the disaster would not fit into the concept. The single should be available in August 2012, but unfortunately the plans of their record company were changed and the single was never released. Months later, the singer announced that her record label Blackground Records the contract with Interscope Records was unable to extend and a release of her upcoming album is in the stars since 2008.
The singer published on December 20, 2012 ( her 22nd birthday) a second mixtape under the name Agape (Greek: unconditional love ) for free download.
