Jonás Cuarón

Jonás Cuarón ( born 1981 in Mexico City) is a Mexican film director and screenwriter. He is the son of director Alfonso Cuarón.

Jonás Cuarón studied film studies at the U.S. elite high school Vassar College. In 2007 he released his first feature film Año uña. For the worldwide success Gravity he wrote the screenplay and produced the accompanying short film Aningaaq. Together with director Alfonso Cuarón he is nominated in the category Best Original Screenplay at the British Academy Film Awards 2014.
