Jonas Hummels

Jonas Hummels ( * August 5, 1990 in Wiesbaden ) is a German football player. He is the brother of the German international's Mats Hummels and the son of the coach Hermann Hummels.

Career

Hummels, which is mainly used in central defense, played in the youth of the FC Bayern Munich and in 2007 German masters of the B- juniors. He then moved to the youth department of SpVgg Unterhaching. In the 2008 /09 season he made his debut yet as A Teenager in the second men's team in the fourth division of Hachinger Regionalliga Süd, but this rose from fifth rate in the Bavarian League.

After two seasons as a regular in the Bavarian League Hummels was the 2011/12 season promoted to the first team and was the first match in the away game against Preußen Münster his debut in the third league. Earlier, he had been determined by coach Heiko Herrlich to the captain of the team, making him the youngest captain in the history of SpVgg Unterhaching.
