Jonathan Chimier

Jonathan Chimier (born 6 August 1982) is a Mauritian athlete who makes its appearance mainly as a long jumper. His greatest achievement is the victory at the African Championships in Brazzaville in 2004 with a jump of 8.06 meters with no wind. He holds 8.28 m to the Mauritian record in the long jump. At a height of 1.75 m his competition weight is 70 kg. His club is Racing Cf Paris.

In the first World Youth Championships ( U18) 1999 Bydgoszcz he finished fifth. In the same year he took second place at the African Junior Championships.
