Joona Puhakka

Joona Tapio Puhakka ( born June 23, 1982 in Kerava ) is a former Finnish diver. He jumped in the art of jumping from 1 -meter and 3 -meter board. Puhakka participated in three Olympic Games and won several medals at world and European championships.

Puhakka won at the home European Championship 2000 in Helsinki, his first international medal, he won bronze of the 1 -meter board. In the same year he took part in the Olympic Games in Sydney, the 3 -meter board as he missed 30, but the semi-finals. One of his greatest successes came in the 2003 World Cup in Barcelona, ​​where he won the bronze medal from the 1 -meter board. His first international title he could win in 2004.
