Jorge Arriagada
Jorge Arriagada ( born August 20, 1943 in Santiago de Chile) is a Chilean composer.
Biography
Jorge Arriagada studied composition at the National Conservatory in Santiago. Then he was allowed from 1966 to study with the help of a scholarship from the French government Expressionism with Max German. He also studied composition with Olivier Messiaen and music line with Pierre Boulez. For his musical achievements in the electronic music in 1972 he was honored by the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation as by then the youngest musician.
