Jorge Enríquez

Jorge Enríquez García ( born January 8, 1991, Mexicali, Baja California), also known by the nickname Chaton, is a Mexican football player who is used either as a central defender or defensive midfielder.

Association

Born in the northern Mexican border town of Mexicali Chaton Enriquez went through the junior level of the Club Deportivo Guadalajara, where he also received his first professional contract. His debut in the Mexican Primera División he celebrated on 17 February 2010 in the 1-0 victory of his team in Pachuca.

National

Jorge Enríquez won with the Mexican U-20 National Team CONCACAF U- 20 Championship 2011 and took part in the U-20 World Cup in 2011, when Mexico was third.

In 2011 he also took with Mexico as a guest team in the Copa America 2011 in Argentina part where he made his first three matches. Different from Mexico but after the preliminary round.

In summer 2012, he participated with the Olympic Team at the Olympic Games in London, where Mexico won the gold medal for the first time.
