José Alfredo Caires de Nobrega

José Alfredo Caires de Nobrega SCI ( born April 12, 1951 in Canico ) is Bishop of Mananjary.

Life

José Alfredo Caires de Nobrega joined the Congregation of the Dehonians and received on 28 December 1980, the ordination. Pope John Paul II appointed him on 30 October 2000 as Bishop of Mananjary.

The Archbishop of Fianarantsoa, Philibert Randriambololona SJ, donated to him on March 18 of next year episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Charles - Remy Rakotonirina SJ, Bishop of Farafangana, and António de Sousa Braga SCI, Bishop of Angra.
