José de Armas

José de Armas ( born March 25, 1981 in Florida ) is a former Venezuelan tennis player.

Career

José de Armas celebrated only on the second-rate Challenger Tour title a success. He won the double title, with his compatriot Jimy Szymanski as he won the final in San Luis Potosí for in 2000. At Grand Slam tournaments he was never able to qualify for the main round. His highest singles ranking in the world rankings, he reached on 19 May 2003 with position 236 in the double he was ranked 231 in August 2000. Thus he could not confirm his success in the juniors. In the years 1997 and 1998 he won the junior doubles competitions will the French Open. In 1997 he won at the side of Luis Horna, a year later Fernando Gonzalez was his partner.
