José García Calvo

José Antonio García Calvo ( born April 1, 1975 in Madrid ) is a Spanish football player.

Career

The native of Madrid began his career at Real Madrid. In 1994 he came to the B- team of the Royal. In 1995 he was brought to the A- team Reals. From 1997-2001 Calvo played at Real Valladolid. From 2001 to 2006, the Spaniard played at Atletico Madrid. The central defender can also play in the left and the right defense. Atletico Calvo has always been one of the leading players. In summer 2006, García Calvo joined the second division Real Valladolid with which he attained promotion to the first division at the first attempt.

Calvo has played three times in the Spanish national team, he managed the leap within the European Championship qualifier 2002-2004 for the European Championships in Portugal.
