José Luis Abadín

José Luis Abadín ( born March 13, 1987 in Ourense ) is a Spanish racing driver. He joined in 2011 and 2012 in Formula 2.

Career

Abadín began his motorsport career in 2000 in karting. In 2006, he debuted in Formula Master Junior in Formula racing. After he had occupied the eleventh overall in his debut season, he was third in 2007 in the championship. 2008 moved Abadín in the Spanish Formula 3 Championship for the Novo team ECA. He participated only in the first six race weekends and had no points. In 2009 he moved within the championship, which was called from this season European F3 Open to DRIVEX and participated in six of the eight race weekends. While his team-mate Celso Miguez runner-up was finished Abadín with a sixth place as the 15th overall best result. As he drove an older vehicle, he was entitled to points in the Copa rating. He won three races at this rating and finished the season in third place on this ranking. 2010 denied Abadín for DRIVEX his third season in the European F3 Open. He started five of eight race weekends and finished the season with a second place as best result in seventh place in the championship.

2011 moved Abadín in the FIA Formula 2 Championship. For three events, he did not present himself. At the end of the season, he finished 22nd overall. 2012 remained Abadín in Formula 2 and participated in the season opener.
