In this way he came in the next three years, only to ten inserts in the Primera División.

In the 1991/92 season is Sempere finally won back his place and played with the club again in the UEFA Cup. When the club leadership, the goalkeeping legend Andoni Zubizarreta signed her in 1994, Sempere, however, had once again take place on the bench. Then he finished in 1995 at the age of 37 years of his career.
