José MarÃa de Pereda
José María de Pereda y Sanchez de Porrua ( born February 6, 1833 in Polanco in Santander, Cantabria, Spain, † March 1, 1906 in Santander) was a Spanish writer. Background of his realistic novels are his native Santander and Cantabria.
He was the son of Juan Francisco de Pereda.
