José Tamborini

José Pascual Tamborini ( born February 22, 1886 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, † September 25, 1955 ) was an Argentine doctor and Conservative politician.

Life

José Pascual Tamborini began his political career in the Unión Cívica Radical as he end of the 1890 years laid a newspaper published by the Comité Radical Estudiantil at the Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires [ wp 1]. During his medical studies at the Universidad de Buenos Aires was José Pascual Tamborini Deputy Chairman of the Comité Radical Universitario.

For the elections on February 24, 1946 was formed in the Unión Democrática (Argentina), a coalition of: Unión Cívica Radical, Socialist Party (Argentina ), Partido Comunista de la Argentina [ wp 5] and the Partido Demócrata Progresista [ wp 6]. A key moment of the electoral alliance was the opposition to Juan Perón and his Kandidanten for the office of Vice President, Hortensio Quijano.

The team with Perón received 1,527,231 votes 56% of the 2,734,386 valid votes cast, while the team with Tamborini 1,207,155 votes, 44 % received.
