José Trinidad Sepúlveda Ruiz-Velasco

José Trinidad Sepúlveda Ruiz- Velasco ( born March 30, 1921 in Atotonilco El Alto) is Bishop Emeritus of San Juan de los Lagos.

Life

José Trinidad Sepúlveda Ruiz- Velasco received on 27 March 1948, the ordination.

Pope Paul VI. appointed him on 20 May 1965 Bishop of Tuxtla Gutierrez. The Archbishop of Guadalajara, Cardinal José Garibi y Rivera donated to him on July 25th of that year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Francisco Javier Nuño y Guerrero, Koadjutorerzbischof of Guadalajara, and José Salazar López, Coadjutor Bishop of Zamora. He participated in the fourth session of the Second Vatican Council.

He was appointed on 12 February 1988 as Bishop of San Juan de los Lagos and was introduced on March 11 of the same year into office. On January 20, 1999 Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation age-related.
