Josef Ackermann (politician)

Josef Ackermann ( born April 26, 1905 in Arenberg in Koblenz, † March 5, 1997 in Vallendar ) was a member of parliament of the NSDAP.

Life

The son of a farmer attended from 1911 to 1919, the primary school and the commercial trade school. After joining the Nazi party in 1925, he later served as Gauredner the party.

After the " seizure of power" of the Nazis Ackermann was renamed from 1936 Regional Inspector under Gauleiter Gustav Simon in Gau Koblenz- Trier, 1942 in Gau Moselle. In the spring of 1945, Ackermann was denied access to an air raid shelter apparently in Arenberg, before he allegedly attacked a wounded soldier of the Wehrmacht. After the war he was interned by the Allies and a short time later delivered to Luxembourg. According to documents of the Ludwigsburg Central Office, he was sentenced on July 21, 1950 in Luxembourg to ten years of forced labor; by a pardon of 23 April 1951, the sentence was reduced to seven years ' imprisonment. Ackermann returned in the first half of the 1950s to Germany, possibly the internment had been set off against the sentence.
