Josef Lüke

Josef Lüke (* March 13, 1899, † 1964) was a German national football team.

The Rhinelander had its most successful period in TuRU Dusseldorf in the twenties. In the spring of 1923, he was with the club in the final of the West German Championship, but lost Arminia Bielefeld 3:4 after extra time. Later, he was still on for the SSV Barmen, BV 01 Opladen and VfR Ohlings.

On 10 May 1923 he made ​​his debut at the Hamburg Stadium High air a 0-0 draw against the Netherlands in the selection of the jersey of the German national team. In his second international game, he missed a penalty, so the game in Dresden was lost with 1:2 against the Swedish national team.
