Joseph Bogen

Joseph E. Arch ( born July 13, 1926 in Cincinnati, Ohio, † 22 April 2005) was an American neurophysiologist and neurosurgeon.

Arc worked with Roger Sperry in the split-brain research and was specialized in the study of consciousness.

He was a professor of neurosurgery at the University of Southern California, Adjunct Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles ( UCLA) and a visiting professor at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech ).
