Joseph E. Robbins

Joseph "Joe" E. Robbins († August 8, 1989 ) was an American film technician three times with the Oscar for technical merit ( Technical Achievement Award) was awarded.

Life

End of the 1920 Robbins was head of the fleet of Paramount Pictures.

Robbins worked as a film technician for Paramount Pictures and was at the Academy Awards in 1938 for the first time won the Oscar for technical merit, namely " an extraordinary application of acoustic principles for sound insulation of gasoline generators and water pumps " ( one for on exceptional application of acoustic principles to the sound proofing of gasoline generators and water pumps' ).
