Joseph Hillebrand

Heinrich Joseph Hillebrand ( born August 24, 1788 in United fertilization ( near Hildesheim ); † January 25, 1871 in Bad Soden am Taunus ) was a German philosopher, writer, literary historian and politician, he was the Grand Duchy of Hesse.

Biography

Joseph Hillebrand was after his studies from 1812 to 1815 teacher at the Josephinum Hildesheim, 1822 Baden Councillor and director of a secondary school in Giessen and then professor and dean at the university there.

He published alongside historical novels and stories primarily philosophical and literary writings.

Joseph Hillebrand is the father of Karl Hillebrand.

Policy

Joseph Hillebrand in 1847 for the electoral district of Giessen elected to the second chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse and was in the chamber from 1847 President. After the March Revolution, he was in 1849 for two sessions of Parliament for the electoral district of Upper Hesse 14/Friedberg. In the next election period from 1851 to 1956, he represented the electoral district of Rheinhessen 2/Stadt Mainz in Parliament. 1862 to 1865 he was once again (this time for the electoral district of the city of Offenbach ) a member of the second chamber. He represented significant liberal positions in the parliament.
