Joseph Olumide

Joseph Olumide ( born October 10, 1987 in Lagos) is a Nigerian football player. He is Offensive allrounder, so it can act both as a midfielder and a striker.

Career

Olumide began his career at senior level in 2004 at SV Waldhof Mannheim, where he was in the second team, which played in the national league Rhein- Neckar used. He scored in the 2005/06 season in twelve inserts nine goals. In the first team of SV Waldhof he could not be used because the required game license was missing. To this, the club struggled in vain.

In summer 2006, Olumide moved to second division club TuS Koblenz, where he came off the bench twice in the first round of the 2006/07 season. On 31 December 2006 he dissolved his contract with the TuS by mutual consent, as TuS endeavored to clarify the obligation of two other attackers, thereby Olumides chances were sunk to longer operating time to a minimum. He wrote the following January a contract with the country's division TSG Thannhausen with which he ascended the Bavarian League in the summer of 2007. During the winter break of the season 2007/ 08 he joined the second team of Hamburger SV. After three years in Hamburg Olumide returned to Bavaria, where he joined the SV Wacker Burghausen joined on 1 July 2010. The player is thus moved to the 2010/11 season in the third league. There resulted persistent knee problems mean that the association dissolved the contract in November 2011. In February 2012, Olumide signed a running until end of season contract with the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg 1 FC Normannia Gmünd. After the descent from Gmünd he joined the league rivals VfR Mannheim.
