Joseph Patrick Nannetti

Joseph Patrick Nannetti (* 1851 in Ireland; † April 26, 1915 in London) was an Irish politician.

Joseph Patrick Nannetti was born in 1851 as the son of Italian sculptor and modeller J. Nannetti. He attended various schools in Dublin, among other things, the Christian Brothers and was trained as a printer. While he was professionally active in Liverpool, there he helped in founding the first Liverpool Home Rule Association. Later he returned to Dublin, where he Secretary and then President of the Trade Council was ordered. Nannetti was a member of the City Council (Dublin Corporation), and the Port Authority. From 1906 to 1908 he held the office of Mayor of the city (Lord Mayor of Dublin).

In 1900 he was elected to the House of Commons and he owned up to his death. In the ensuing by-elections John Dillon Nugent was elected to the House of Commons.
