Joseph Perl

Josef Perl ( Joseph Perl, born November 10, 1773 in Tarnopol, † October 1, 1839 ) was a pioneer of Jewish Enlightenment in Galicia, also active as a reformer of religion as a reformer in school and education, as well as Hebrew writers (before all satires, in which he fought the Hasidim and proves to be a good character actor ) and patron. He used the pseudonym James Obadiah partially or Ovadyah ben Petahyah.
