Joseph R. Garber

Rene Joseph Garber ( born August 14, 1943 in Philadelphia, † 27 May 2005 at Woodside, California ) was an American author.

Garbers father was in the U.S. Army, so he went to as a child often and soon turned to books. He attended the University of Virginia, the study broke off but to go as his father into the army. After his service, he studied philosophy at the East Tennessee State University and completed his studies in 1968. He then worked as a consultant for AT & T and Booz Allen Hamilton. He wrote for the AT & T Company Magazine and in his spare time.

1984 Garber pulled after a long illness to Woodside in California. He has written articles for Forbes Magazine and worked as a consultant until he took a dismissal as an opportunity to write full-time. His first novel, Rascal money was released in 1989 and is engaged in hostile takeovers of companies. He was initially conceived as a book, but was rewritten before the release of Garber on the advice of lawyers.

His biggest success was the 1995 published novel Vertical Run, which became an international bestseller.

Garber was married. He died at the age of 61 of a heart attack.
