Joseph Trinh Chinh Truc

Joseph Trinh Chinh Truc ( Vietnamese: Joseph Trinh Chính Truc, born October 25, 1925 in Ha Hoi, Vietnam; † 23 September 2011) was a Vietnamese priest and Roman Catholic Bishop of Ban Me Thuot.

Life

Trinh Chinh Truc studied at the seminary in Hanoi and received May 31, 1954, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 19 June 1981 for the Coadjutor Bishop of Ban Me Thuot. The Bishop of Ban Me Thuot, Pierre Nguyên Huy Mai, consecrated him on 15 August of the same year the bishop; Were co-consecrators Alexis Pham Van Lôc, Bishop of Kontum, and Joseph Nguyen Cuong Tùng, Bishop of Haiphong.

After the death of Pierre Nguyên Huy corn he followed him on August 4, 1990 as Bishop of Ban Me Thuot. On 29 December 2000, Pope John Paul II accepted his resignation age-related.
