Josh McDowell

Joslin " Josh " McDowell ( born August 17, 1939) is an American evangelical apologist, revivalist and author.

Life

McDowell turned to a conversion experience at Kellogg College in Michigan to evangelicalism. He moved to Wheaton College in Illinois, where he talked in church services and evangelistic events about his faith. McDowell then visited the Talbot Theological Seminary before 1964 employees at Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC). For several decades McDowell worked as a traveling evangelist for CCC. He also directed a number of years an international working branch of CCC under the name Josh McDowell Ministry. McDowell first gave lectures to students, but also soon published books and records from 1970 Discussion, later contributions by him were also broadcast on radio.
