Joshua Coit

Joshua Coit ( born October 7, 1758 in New London, Connecticut; † September 5, 1798 ) was an American politician. Between 1793 and 1798 he represented the state of Connecticut in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Joshua Coit grew even during the British colonial era. He attended the common schools and then to 1776 Harvard College, which later became the Harvard University emerged. Between 1784 and 1793 he was several times as a delegate in the House of Representatives from Connecticut; In 1793 he was its president.
