Joshua Christian Kojo King ( born January 15, 1992 Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian footballer Gambian descent.

Career

Youth

Joshua King's father is from Gambia, his mother is Norwegian. King grew up in Romsås, a suburb of the Norwegian capital Oslo on. At the age of 6, he started playing football at the local club Romsås IL and moved in 2006 at the age of 14 years in the youth department of Vålerenga Oslo. In 2008 he went to England and played from then on in the youth department of the British record champions Manchester United.

Professional career

2009, King moved into the first team of Manchester, however, came only in the reserve team to use. In the 2010/11 season he was loaned to second division side Preston North End. In the Lilywhites the Norwegians came to only eight missions and the team was relegated to the end of the season in the third English League from. For the season 2011/2012 the German Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach took him on loan under contract. There he celebrated his debut on 19 August when he came on in the Bundesliga match of the 3rd day game against VfL Wolfsburg in the 86th minute for Mike Hanke. Due to many violations of the loan contract in the winter break was dissolved.

On January 16, 2012 Manchester United announced that King will loan until end of season at Hull City.

On November 22, 2012 King was loaned to the end of the Blackburn Rovers. Subsequently, he was firmly committed. He signed a contract with validity until 30 June 2015.

Play

Joshua has often played as a striker in youth, but can be used on almost every offensive position due to its versatile capabilities. His strengths include the Tempodribbling, ie that he has a very close ball control in high speed. Through his stature it difficult for his opponents hard to separate him from the ball in the tackle.
