Josip Šimić

Josip Simic ( born September 16, 1977 in Zagreb ) is a former Croatian football player.

His football career began at ONS Hitrec - Kacijan. About Slaven Belupo then it went to Dinamo Zagreb. His first overseas station had the Croat 2000 in Belgium at FC Bruges. After that, the striker joined Aris Thessaloniki in Greece. 2003, the left-footer went to the Far East to Ulsan Hyundai. In the season 2005/ 06 Simic played for FC Kärnten in Austria. From the summer of 2006, however, he did not fit into the concept of the club and was eventually several months without a club until he signed in January 2007, the Croatian first division side NK Varteks Varaždin a new contract.

Simic played 1999 and 2000, a total of seven times for the Croatian national football team.
