Joslyn Hoyte-Smith

Joslyn Hoyte -Smith ( born December 16, 1954, Barbados) is a former British athlete, who specialized in the 400 -meter run.

Hoyte -Smith was three times British Champion and Champion of the Amateur Athletic Association. The European Athletics Championships 1978 in Prague, she took with the British 4 x 400 - meter relay in fourth place. In the 400 - meter race she reached the semifinal round. Shortly thereafter, she won the English relay at the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton.

At the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980, she won in the 4 x 400 meters relay together with Linsey Macdonald, Michelle Scutt and Donna Hartley the bronze medal behind the teams from the Soviet Union and the GDR.
