Journeyman - The Time Springer is an American television series about a man who changes the times in order to change a particular person's life. She ran in 2007 on the American broadcaster NBC and was canceled after one season.

Action

Dan Vasser is a newspaper reporter, finally passes his life after losing his girlfriend and his gambling addiction in an orderly fashion. Suddenly, however, he travels through time and ends up in 1987., Where he saves a man's life and then accompanied him through various stations in his life. His wife Katie Vasser and his brother Jack Vasser keep him meanwhile crazy. He can finally convince his wife, but his brother remains suspicious. Again and again Dan to travel through time and finally meets his lost love Olivia " Livia " Beale, who is just like him one time Springer. Together, they must affect the lives of individuals in the past. Under this constant change Dans suffers from private and professional lives. In addition, Jack is always suspicious. As this is the secret, he helps his brother to forces. From the mysterious scientist Professor Langley Dan learns that he is the last of a series of time -jumpers and he must keep his gift a secret.

Main characters

Dan Vasser

Dan Vasser is a newspaper reporter and lives with his wife Katie and his son Zack in San Francisco. It can neither control nor to delay his time jumps. Apparently without its own control, it is simply thrown into the maelstrom of events and has in the past autonomously find out its mission and the person. Has he finished his task, he ends up back in the present. Prior to his marriage to Katie he suffered after the supposed death of his girlfriend under gambling.

Katie Vasser

Katie Vasser is Dan's wife and mother of the common son Zack. Before Dan had a relationship with his brother Jack, and was a TV reporter. It is initially the only person who knows of the time jumps her husband and supports her husband in forces. She takes later in the series back to her old job.

Olivia Beale

Olivia Beale, called " Livia " is Dan's former partner. She was declared dead after a plane crash, but in truth it is from the year 1948. As Dan Springer is a time, but which is already active for much longer, and during a prolonged stay in the late 1980s had a relationship with Dan. They usually jump in the same time as Dan and supports him in his missions.

Jack Vasser

Jack Vasser is Dan's brother and works as a police officer in San Francisco. He is very curious and suspected Dan to play again. Concerned about his ex-girlfriend Katie he sniffs Dan afterwards and ensures, among other things, for an FBI investigation because he finds a bill from the famous hijacker Dylan McCleen at Dan and sends these to a laboratory for examination. But by the time he gets behind his brother's secret and support him.

Supporting Characters

Hugh Skillen is Dan's boss at the San Francisco Register. He is also an old friend of the family.

Zack Vasser is the son of Katie and Dan. He sees his father once at a time jump.

Background

Journeyman - the Portal of Time was conceived by Kevin Falls and produced by 20th Century Fox. The first season aired on NBC in 2007, but did not reach the necessary ratings for a second season. Several protests of fans could not sway the leaders of the sender to be a second season commissioned.

RTL 2 began on 25 April 2009 with the airing of the season. The two episodes were broadcast per broadcast date. The last episode of the series was broadcast on 30 May 2009.
