Jozef Migaš

Jozef Migas ( born January 7, 1954 in Pušovce ) is a Slovak politician.

Life

He studied philosophy at the University of Kiev. He was a lecturer in Bratislava at the Institute of Marxism -Leninism of the Political School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Slovakia. After the Velvet Revolution, he participated in the founding of the Party of the Democratic Left (Slovak: Strana demokratickej lavice SDL) part. He has the SDL out until 2001. Between 1995 and 1996 he was the Slovakian ambassador to Ukraine. From 1998 to 2002 he was the president of the National Council. From 30 October 1998 to 15 June 1999, an interim president, along with Mikuláš Dzurinda.
