Juan Alonso

Juan Adelarpe Alonso ( born December 13, 1927 in Hondarribia, † September 8, 1994 ) was a Spanish football goalkeeper.

Career

Juan Alonso began his career at age 18 with CD Logroñés. After one season, he moved because he was stationed during military service in Ferrol, for local club racing. After his military service he went to Real Madrid, where he was to remain thirteen years and many successes celebrated.

Overall, he scored four hits in the European Champions Cup, as well as many Spanish league titles and two wins in the Coupe Latine. After eleven years as a goalkeeper however he lost in 1960 due to a Lungenerverletzung his position. Although he was able to return after a long break, finally finished a broken collarbone but his professional career. In the season 1962/63 he played a few games with the second team of Real Madrid, AD Plus Ultra. Juan Alonso was devoted to his career after the catering operation and various restaurants. On September 8, 1994, he died in his home town of Hondarribia.
