Juan Ãngel Arias
Juan Ángel Arias (* 1800 in Goascorán, Valle, † March 1842 in Quelapa in Tegucigalpa ) was December 24, 1829 to April 22, 1830 Supreme Director of Honduras.
On December 24, 1829 were Juan Ángel Arias José Francisco Morazán Quezadas the government. After the defeat of the insurgents by Morazán Arias made the reports on the Pacificación de Olancho, the agreements of the parties and the defeat of the insurgents publish in the Civil War. The Supremo Director opened the first primary school in Yoro.
Juan Ángel Arias married Juana López. The politician was murdered in March 1842 in Quelapa in Tegucigalpa. His son was Carlos Arias López Céleo.
